This week, eighth grade students took an exciting step in their learning journey by using instructional strategies created with Diffit for the first time. As I introduced the lesson adapted through Diffit, students worked with materials tailored to their reading levels and learning needs, making complex content more accessible and engaging. From modified texts to targeted discussion questions, the strategies helped students approach classwork with greater confidence.
Many students reported feeling more comfortable participating in lessons and tackling challenging topics. I also noticed increased engagement, as students were better able to understand expectations and stay focused on key ideas. The first experience with Diffit strategies showed promising results, setting a positive tone for more personalized and inclusive learning throughout the year.
