When thinking about how we can teach leadership in a special education classroom, we can see that there are many different types of lessons that go into that classroom. When teaching students in that type of class, we don’t see them as anything different; we see them as more talented and just needing some extra learning. When teaching about how leadership works and how social studies can be a part of their daily learning, we just have to think outside of the box and show them how we can make this world a better place and what things that we can do help our nation and the small part of the world that we live in. Just because you might be different than the people around you, we can still learn how to make each and every one of us great for ourselves and for the great nation that we live in each and every day.
