This semester, our school celebrated history, heroes, and family fun all in one! Students explored the tall tales of Paul Bunyan, the giant lumberjack, learning about his amazing adventures and his loyal companion, Babe the Blue Ox. From creating lakes to chopping down forests, students enjoyed discovering how stories from long ago can teach us about creativity, teamwork, and American folklore.
Families joined us for Family Museum Night, where students showcased their projects and shared what they’ve learned about history. It was a wonderful evening filled with curiosity, laughter, and hands-on learning.
We also took time to honor our veterans, recognizing their service and sacrifice. Students learned about the importance of remembering and thanking those who protect our country, connecting past and present in meaningful ways.
By combining folklore, family engagement, and honoring heroes, our students gained a deeper appreciation for history, storytelling, and the people who have shaped our world.
